Generate 1 to 1,000 paragraphs of classic Lorem Ipsum filler text. Use the classic Latin or paste your own filler. Three layouts.
The classic Lorem Ipsum text starts with "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit..." and continues for one paragraph. Use this tool to repeat that paragraph 1 to 1,000 times for design mockups, wireframes, or testing how your layout handles long content.
Lorem Ipsum was first used as filler text in the 1500s, when an unknown printer scrambled a Latin passage from Cicero to create a typographically diverse sample for layout testing. The randomized word lengths and absence of real meaning let designers focus on visual hierarchy without being distracted by content. It's been the design industry standard ever since.
If you'd rather use your own filler text instead of Lorem, just paste it into the input field — the repeater works with any paragraph-length text.
Not exactly. It's based on a passage from Cicero's "De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (45 BC), but the first words "Lorem ipsum" come from a corruption — "dolorem ipsum" was broken across a page and the leading 'do' was lost over centuries of reprinting. Modern Lorem Ipsum is essentially nonsense Latin that mimics readable prose.
For most layout testing, classic Lorem is fine — its word length distribution closely matches real English/Spanish/French text. Themed alternatives (Bacon Ipsum, Hipster Ipsum) are fun but can distract reviewers from the design. Use them sparingly.
5–10 paragraphs covers most landing page mockups. For long-form content layouts (blog posts, articles), 15–25 paragraphs lets you see how the design handles scrolling, sidebars, and section breaks.
